Given how young Shedeur Sanders still is, there are multiple players in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft, starting on Thursday night, who once played with him. Whether that was at Jackson State or Colorado, Sanders still has a few former teammates who were in the college football ranks a year ago.

Among them is wide receiver Kevin Coleman, who played with Sanders at Jackson State. He posted 2,536 yards throughout his college career and is viewed as a potential draft pick in this upcoming class.

Speaking about what it would mean to play with Sanders, it sounds like he has a lot of respect for what the young Cleveland Browns quarterback has done in his career so far. He also added that he would love to play with him again if given the opportunity.

"That's my guy," Coleman said when asked about Sanders, per Browns Wire. "I'm super happy for him, proud of him for where he's at right now, proud of the guy that he is becoming. But hey, that would be crazy. Freshman year, the chemistry we [have]...I would love to go back and play with him."

The Browns can use wide receiver help, and taking somebody that Sanders has a history with probably wouldn't be the worst idea, but it's also fair to note that Coleman isn't exactly what this organization needs right now. Cleveland will probably need someone a bit better, so that's something it will have to figure out in the draft.
