In a dramatic Ligue 1 preview of their upcoming Coupe de France semi-final, RC Lens staged a stunning comeback to defeat Toulouse FC 3-2, keeping their slender title hopes firmly alive. The match was a rollercoaster from start to finish, delivering the kind of high-stakes drama that defines a championship chase.

Toulouse exploded out of the gates, silencing the home crowd with two early goals. A speculative long-range effort from Cristian Cásseres in the 6th minute slipped past goalkeeper Robin Risser, before defensive chaos from a corner allowed Seny Koumbassa to tap in for his first professional goal just seven minutes later, putting the visitors in a commanding 2-0 lead.

The game's pivotal moment arrived when Toulouse's Yann Gboho received a straight red card for a reckless challenge on Adrien Thomasson. Playing with a man advantage, Lens finally found their rhythm and began to pour forward. They thought they had pulled one back through Florian Sotoca, but his header was controversially ruled out for a push.

Undeterred, Lens' relentless pressure finally told in the second half. The introduction of substitute Allan Saint-Maximin provided the crucial spark; his pinpoint cross found Saud Abdulhamid at the back post to make it 2-1. The equalizer soon followed, as a powerful long-range strike from Malang Sarr was parried by goalkeeper Guillaume Restes directly into the path of Thomasson, who made no mistake from close range.

With the clock ticking down, the stage was set for a hero. Step forward defender Ismaëlo Ganiou, who rose highest to thunder home a 93rd-minute winner from Andrija Bulatović's corner, sending the Stade Bollaert into raptures. This resilient victory, clawed back from a two-goal deficit, moves Lens to within a single point of league leaders Paris Saint-Germain, setting up a thrilling finale to the season.
