Barcelona are champions of Spain once again, sweeping El Clásico to secure back-to-back La Liga titles under Hansi Flick. But while the Blaugrana celebrate their latest triumph, Real Madrid still hold the crown as the winningest club in Spanish football history—for now.

Spanish football has long been defined by dynasties. Since Athletic Bilbao became the first club to win back-to-back titles in the league's third season, repeat champions have been the norm rather than the exception. Athletic have done it twice, Real Madrid have achieved the incredible feat of five consecutive titles on two separate occasions, and Barcelona once won four straight. Real Sociedad and Atlético Madrid have also enjoyed repeat championship runs.

With Flick's side now joining that elite company, let's take a closer look at the all-time La Liga title leaders.

The All-Time La Liga Title Count

Real Madrid lead the way with 36 championships, seven more than their historic rivals and current champions Barcelona. Atlético Madrid sit third with 11 titles, followed by Athletic Bilbao (8) and Valencia (6). Real Sociedad have won twice, while Deportivo La Coruña, Sevilla, and Real Betis have each lifted the trophy once.
