Another former Florida State football player will have a chance to make an NFL roster.
Runing back Roydell Williams has accepted an invite to the Tennessee Titans rookie minicamp, according to Jordan Schultz. Former FSU quarterback Tommy Castellanos will also be there, but he is going as a wide receiver.
Williams spent the final two years of his career with FSU, playing in 11 games and making four starts as he battled several injuries. He finished his time as a Seminole with 99 yards and two touchdowns on 41 carries. He also caught seven passes for 65 yards.
The Hueytown, Alabama, native began his career with the Alabama Crimson Tide, spending the first four years of his career with the in-state program before transferring to FSU ahead of the 2024 season in search of a bigger role.
He played in 45 games for them with two starts, carrying the ball 234 times for 1,165 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also caught 21 passes for 152 yards and two more touchdowns. He averaged just 4.6 yards per carry in his six years playing college football.
