Daylon Swearingen Surges in PBR Standings Following Tacoma Win

With the PBR World Finals just around the corner, Tacoma was the last stop on the Unleash the Beast Tour. Swearingen took his second event title of the year.

As the PBR World Finals in Fort Worth, Texas, approaches, the final stop on the Unleash the Beast Tour delivered a dramatic shakeup in the standings. Daylon Swearingen stormed into Tacoma, Washington, and walked away as the event champion, sending a clear message to the competition.

Swearingen went a perfect 3-for-3 on the weekend, a feat that launched him from No. 17 to No. 8 in the world standings. While he was already in a comfortable position to qualify for the finals, this victory has given him serious momentum heading into Cowtown Coliseum.

The defining moment came in the final round when Swearingen drew Pegasus, the No. 1 bull in the world. In a jaw-dropping display of skill and determination, he delivered a 94.90-point ride that sealed the event win. His total score of 270.85 points across three bulls was the weekend's best.

What's truly impressive is Swearingen's recent consistency. He has scored on 9 of his last 11 bulls, and many of those rides have come in high-stakes situations. He's not just covering bulls—he's riding with precision and confidence. There couldn't be a better time for him to peak.

While Swearingen sits at 500.50 points—still trailing leader John Crimber (984.50 points)—he has a history of rising to the occasion at the World Finals. In 2022, he captured his first PBR World Championship, and in 2019, he became the youngest cowboy to qualify for both the PBR World Finals and the NFR in the same year.

Earlier this season, Swearingen also claimed the title in Tallahassee, marking his first event win since his championship year. Despite battling injuries in 2025, he has returned stronger than ever and is now a key rider for the Nashville team.

With the World Finals just days away, all eyes are on Swearingen. If his recent performances are any indication, fans are in for a thrilling ride.
