The road to the 2026 UIL State Championships is heating up, and Dallas-area girls' golf teams have made their mark at the regional tournaments. The competition was fierce, showcasing the incredible talent developing right here in North Texas. Let's break down the team standings and individual leaders who are swinging their way toward state glory.

In the 6A Region I tournament, Southlake Carroll demonstrated why they're a perennial powerhouse, capturing first place with a stellar team score of 295. They were closely followed by Prosper (303) and Coppell (304), setting up what promises to be an intense state championship battle. On the individual leaderboard, Carroll's Olivia Neal led the charge with an impressive round of 70.

Over in 6A Region II, the team title was claimed by Conroe The Woodlands with a 295. The individual performance of the day, however, belonged to Magnolia West's Madi Buckley, who fired a sensational 4-under par 68 to top the standings.

The 5A Region I competition saw Grapevine emerge victorious with a team score of 306, holding off a strong challenge from Colleyville Heritage (312). The individual race was a nail-biter, with Colleyville Heritage's Jumee Lee and Grapevine's Megan Marais tying at 3-under par 69.

In 5A Region II, Frisco Reedy took top honors with a 298, just ahead of district rival Frisco Centennial (302). The individual spotlight shone on Frisco Independence's Megan Lee, who posted a dazzling 5-under par 67, the lowest round we've seen across all these regionals.

Finally, in the 4A Region II tournament, Frisco Panther Creek's Grey team dominated, winning with a 304. Their team depth was on full display, as Gabby Olewe (72), Grace Cronin (73), and Kingston Burke (73) swept the top three individual spots—a truly remarkable team achievement.

Congratulations to all the teams and individuals who qualified. The precision, focus, and skill on display are a testament to the hard work these athletes put in every day. As they prepare for the state finals, we'll be watching and cheering on the next generation of golf stars. Good luck to all!
