There's a video and everything, as if this is New York Yankees top prospect George Lombard getting promoted to the major leagues.
Instead, the Yankees are moving him up from Double-A Somerset to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Yes, it's still notable news in Lombard's career. But the way it was framed was a bit much:

Lombard, who won't turn 21 until June, has certainly earned this move up the ladder.
He already was viewed as having an MLB-ready glove, but his bat had to show improvement. It has so far this season.
Through 20 games at Somerset, Lombard was hitting .312 with eight doubles, four homers, four steals and a .971 OPS.
This will mark his first foray to Triple-A, which is the last rung on the ladder on the way up to the major leagues.
The Yankees are still waiting for Anthony Volpe to return from injury, and in the meantime, Jose Caballero has been the Yanks' regular shortstop.
They surely see Lombard as their shortstop of the future. The question now, as he gets closer to the big leagues, is how far away that future is now.
