WWE Raw After Mania (April 20, 2026) | Key PointsRoman Reigns reformed the Bloodline alongside the Usos. Jacob Fatu emerged as the OTC’s first challenger.
Oba Femi opened WWE Raw After Mania with a four-word promo: “The Ruler has arrived.”
CM Punk and Cody Rhodes had a live exchange, teasing a future WWE Championship match.
Main roster callups included All Ego Ethan Page, Joe Hendry and Sol Ruca. Zaria also made an appearance, attacking Sol Ruca. The Street Profits returned.
Oba Femi walked out to what felt like a ticker tape championship celebration. Fans wouldn’t let him speak for minutes, chanting “Oba” and “Oba Femi!"
“The ruler has arrived!” said Oba Femi before dropping the mic. This was the complete opposite of Roman Reigns’ infamous four-word promo to open Raw After Mania after appearing to retire the Undertaker. Instead of being booed out of the building, Oba was cheered after appearing to retire Brock Lesnar and before cutting a four-word promo of his own.
Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky started at a fervent pace, with this match serving as their de facto WrestleMania match. Iyo hit a beautiful double-underhook piledriver before tagging out to Ripley, who got an explosive reaction.
Asuka uploaded on Ripley with strikes in her de facto WrestleMania moment. Asuka dumped Rhea to the outside, and Kairi followed up with an Insane Elbow on a standing Rhea Ripley.
Back in the ring, Kairi and Asuka worked over Rhea before she made the hot tag to Iyo, who made a great comeback including coast-to-coast bullet train attacks. They really let these women cook and this was WWE’s best tag team match all weekend.
Rhea hit a Razor’s Edge on Asuka followed by a missile dropkick. Asuka awkwardly kicked out as Kairi was late to make the save. Asuka accidentally hit Kairi, who walked into a Riptide. Iyo hit Over the Moonsault for the win. Asuka admonished Kairi on the outside of the ring.
After the match, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky said their goodbyes as Rhea heads off for SmackDown. Interestingly, Rhea crossed paths with WWE women’s world champion Liv Morgan and they shared a brief moment.
Out walked CM Punk to an extremely mixed reaction. Half of T-Mobile Arena cheered and chanted his name, while the other half of T-Mobile booed him heavily. Similar to his entrance last night at WrestleMania 42, Punk walked out without theme music before leading the crowd in an “it’s clobbering time” chant. Punk’s a capella entrance made the insane crowd reaction sound even louder.
Punk was humble and he thanked fans for getting him through his grief. He acknowledged the recent passings of his dog Larry, backstage WWE employees like Kerwin Silfies as well as his former MMA coach Duke Rufus. Punk said he stays ready, so he was able to become a world champion and defeat Jey Uso. Punk’s mention of Jey Uso’s yeeting received boos and Punk seemed legitimately confused.
Punk said you never know when a world championship opportunity will fall out of the sky. Punk was interrupted by Cody Rhodes, who was supporting a savage black eye.
Punk and Cody had an exchange befitting of two first-ballot Hall of Famers. Punk took exception to a comment of Cody saying he “feels like a loser,” asking Cody “do you think I should feel like a loser?” Punk playfully shook it off, and ended the promo by saying he’d stay ready for a possible WWE title shot. “Just say when,” said Rhodes.
Je’Von and Ethan immediately began at a speedy pace, with the two familiar foes going back-and-forth and lighting up the crowd. Ethan Page, who received a big pop for appearing backstage, took a commanding lead with a backbreaker.
Ethan followed up with a forearm and a back elbow. The announcers began coping for Je’Von, playing up his injuries from last night’s ladder match on ESPN.
The Young OG came back wit ha dive to the outside. Evans set up Page on the table, but Rusev interfered. Evans fought off Rusev and slid back in the ring. Page hit the Twisted Grin for the win. Rusev attacked Je’Von Evans and got the most heat he’s had since returning. This feud will be good for all parties involved.
Penta hit the ring and took the fight to Rusev. Ethan Page interfered and both he and Rusev beat down the babyfaces. Rusev locked in the Accolade on Penta and posed with the Intercontinental title. Huge heat.
Liv Morgan soaked in “you deserve it” chants and called herself the greatest women’s world champion of “aaaaallll time!” Morgan called herself the most talented woman in WWE. Morgan was interrupted by Sol Ruca, who received a huge pop.
