After a standout campaign that had him in the running for National Player of the Year, an unfortunate injury during North Carolina's loss at Miami cut his season short. A planned return against Duke was derailed by another setback, officially ending his college career early.

Despite the injury, Wilson is already projected as a lottery pick. But could a strong performance at the NBA Combine push him even higher? CBS Sports' Isaac Trotter thinks so. "North Carolina star Caleb Wilson is going to knock the interviews and the athletic testing out of the park," Trotter said. "The athleticism, the smile, the competitiveness, the ability to put his nose on the rim, it's all there. Wilson fits like a glove with what the Chicago Bulls are looking for under new general manager, Bryson Graham."

"But will he get to No. 4 overall? It's still the most likely outcome, but there's no question that Wilson can surge even more with a strong week," Trotter added. "He fits the profile of what each NBA team is looking for as a two-way wing with elite athletic tools and an insatiable desire to win. Can he vault past Peterson or Duke's Cameron Boozer? It's certainly not out of the question."

Many scouts believe Wilson's game will translate even better to the NBA than fellow top prospects Cam Boozer or Darryn Peterson. With the NBA Combine running through May 17, Wilson has a prime opportunity to showcase his skills and potentially climb the draft board. The question now is: which team will be lucky enough to land this rising star next month?
