Liverpool entertained Crystal Palace at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 35th minute thanks to Alexander Isak’s effort. Andy Robertson doubled his team’s advantage just five minutes later as he scored with a composed finish. Arne Slot’s men were leading 2-0 at the half-time break.

Daniel Munoz got a goal back for the Eagles in the 71st minute, but Florian Wirtz killed the game off in injury time with a great finish. The match ended with Liverpool securing an impressive 3-1 win at Anfield.

Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the clash against Crystal Palace.

Woodman made a series of important saves during the game and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.

He was full of energy and running at both ends of the field.

Konate put his foot through the ball when he could and was a strong presence in the air.

He dealt with the danger when needed and won a few important aerial duels.

Robertson came back to defend when needed and took his goal well in the 40th minute.

He anchored the midfield well and managed to engineer some inviting chances in the final third. Mac Allister ended the game with a couple of assists to his name.

Jones earned the ball back twice and made two key chances in the final third. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.

He caused some problems for his marker, but there was no goal for him.

Wirtz was a real menace in the final third and managed to score in injury time with a great strike.

He made a good run with the ball but failed to register a goal this afternoon.

Isak was a real handful for the Palace defenders and managed to score the opener in the 35th minute.
