The 6-foot-1 guard leaves after one year with the Horned Frogs.

The TCU women's basketball program, fresh off a thrilling Elite Eight run, is facing a significant roster overhaul this offseason. The latest departure comes from sophomore guard Taliyah Parker, who has reportedly entered the transfer portal after just one season with the Horned Frogs.

The 6-foot-1 guard, a former top-60 national prospect, saw limited action in Fort Worth. Playing sparingly off the bench, Parker averaged 1.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in under six minutes per game during her 18 appearances. This marked a shift from her freshman year at Texas A&M, where she played a more substantial role, averaging 5.4 points and 1.1 steals per contest.

Parker's decision is part of a larger exodus for TCU. She becomes the fourth Horned Frog to enter the portal this cycle, joining Donovyn Hunter, Emily Hunter, and Aaliyah Roberson. Furthermore, the program is graduating a core group of key contributors, including All-Big 12 selections Olivia Miles and Marta Suarez. This massive turnover leaves sophomore center Clara Silva as the lone projected returning starter, signaling a major rebuild for head coach Mark Campbell.

With two years of eligibility remaining, Parker now seeks a new program where she can carve out a more prominent role. Her size and athleticism at the guard position will make her an intriguing prospect in a transfer portal that continues to reshape the landscape of women's college basketball.
