Los Angeles Lakers star Austin Reaves has not played since April 2 after suffering a Grade 2 oblique strain. He has missed the first round thus far.
Even though Reaves has yet to play against the Houston Rockets in the opening round of the postseason, the Lakers gained a 3-1 lead to begin the series. Reaves was considered game-time decision for Game 3 and Game 4 against Houston.
However, after he was upgraded to questionable, Reaves was reportedly "optimistic" he could return for Game 5.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Reaves "expects to play" on Wednesday night against the Rockets barring any setbacks.
After about four weeks away due to the injury, expect a strong addition to have Reaves back in the mix for Los Angeles.
