Paris Saint-Germain will have to navigate Saturday's Ligue 1 clash against FC Lorient without one of their key attacking weapons. Goncalo Ramos has been handed a one-match suspension following a red card incident during the previous fixture against Angers SCO, leaving manager Luis Enrique with a tactical headache ahead of a crucial Champions League showdown.

The Portuguese striker's absence stems from two yellow cards in the Angers match, resulting in an automatic suspension with an additional suspended sentence attached. This timing couldn't be worse for the Spanish tactician, who was hoping to rotate his squad ahead of the high-stakes Champions League semifinal second leg against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

With the offensive workload piling up, Luis Enrique had planned to rest key players like Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Ousmane Dembele against Lorient. Ramos was expected to step in and provide fresh legs in attack. Instead, the suspension forces the coaching staff to rethink their rotation strategy, potentially leaving some starters with heavier minutes than ideal.

PSG's injury woes don't end there. Achraf Hakimi, who suffered a right thigh injury late in the Bayern Munich match, has been ruled out for the upcoming European fixture as well. Goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier is also sidelined after picking up an injury during training. These absences test the depth of a squad that has been dominant domestically but now faces a defining week in Europe.

Fortunately for the Parisians, the stakes in this Ligue 1 encounter are relatively low. Sitting comfortably atop the league table with a commanding lead over RC Lens, PSG is well-positioned to retain their title regardless of Saturday's result. The focus remains firmly on the midweek trip to Munich, where a place in the Champions League final hangs in the balance.

Off the pitch, Ramos's future continues to generate speculation. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio recently revealed that both AC Milan and Juventus have their eyes on the Portuguese striker. Speaking on the Caffe di Marzio podcast, Di Marzio expressed confusion over Ramos's role under Luis Enrique, noting that the 23-year-old doesn't appear to fit the manager's tactical philosophy. With agent Jorge Mendes actively exploring options, a summer move could be on the horizon for the Olhao native, who is seeking regular starting minutes next season.
