The Minnesota Timberwolves are officially without multiple starters.

Beginning with Game 5 of the series against the Denver Nuggets, Donte DiVincenzo and Anthony Edwards are both missing in action.

The good news is that the Wolves jumped out to a 3-1 series lead.

The bad news is they won't be back on the court particularly soon.

DiVincenzo isn't playing for the rest of the playoffs due to injury.

He tore his Achilles in Game 4 against the Timberwolves.

After missing a 3-pointer, he planted to go chase after the rebound, and that's when the injury occurred before he could push off and head toward the basketball.

Yes, DiVincenzo will miss the rest of the postseason.

The bigger question as he attempts to rehab his torn Achilles is whether he'll make it back at all in the 2026-27 season. It's certainly not a given.
