Getting dunked on is one of every basketball player's biggest fears. Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren is worse off than his NBA counterparts.

After getting dunked on by Orlando Magic guard Jamal Cain during Monday's Game 4 94-88 loss, NBA fans flocked to social media to tweet, retweet, and comment on Duren getting punked. One of those fans happened to be his rumored ex-girlfriend, Angel Reese.

The Atlanta Dream trade acquisition and WNBA star has made a name for herself in the basketball world as being quite vocal. One of those moments occurs whenever Duren gets dunked on, to poke fun at her rumored ex-boyfriend. Along with this, Monday's incident was extra sweet for her, since her current boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr., plays for Orlando.

Reese goes after the Pistons center whenever he gets dunked on since the two were rumored to have formerly dated. The two never confirmed that they were together, but internet sleuths noticed that the two posted similar vacation pictures in July 2024.

After Duren's Pistons lost Game 4 to the Magic, Reese reposted a video of him getting dunked on by Cain en route to an Orlando upset win. Here is the video the Atlanta Dream star reposted.

Reese reposted another video involving Duren getting dunked around a week prior. It's safe to assume she has been loving the Magic's run in the 2026 NBA Playoffs for more reasons than one.

While it was never officially confirmed by Reese and Duren, the two were linked as a couple for a few months.

During the 2024 summer in July, the two were rumored to be vacationing together. Here are a few photos and detective work that internet sleuths believed linked the basketball stars.

Despite their relationship never being confirmed by either of the basketball players, it is believed that Reese and Duren ended things in September 2024, just a couple of months after their vacation spots appeared to be similar.

On an episode of her weekly podcast "Unapologetically Angel," Reese was asked if she was single. She confirmed that she was, and stated that she preferred her next boyfriend to be 6-foot-7 or taller, and in the NBA.
