Midweek games have been unpredictable for the Aggies this season, and with a bullpen stretched thin, they simply don’t have the same volume of reliable arms available outside of SEC play. As a team, they’re hitting .310 with a .428 on‑base percentage. They don’t rely heavily on the long ball, but they do feature two hitters with double‑digit home run totals, giving them enough pop to punish mistakes.
Tuesday marks the 36th meeting between the programs, with Texas A&M holding a 24–11 advantage. The Aggies have won seven of the last 10 matchups, though UTSA claimed last year’s contest 7–4. A&M will look to flip that result and maintain momentum heading into another critical SEC weekend.
