At the plate, they sit near the bottom of the conference with a .264 team average and rank among the top 10 in strikeouts (337). Defensively, they’ve struggled as well, posting a .965 fielding percentage with 47 errors, fourth‑worst in the SEC.
This weekend marks the 33rd meeting between the programs, with Texas A&M holding a narrow 18–14 advantage. Since joining the SEC, the series has been defined by balance; neither team has won more than three straight.
