Night 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft gave Clemson football a strong start, and now the spotlight turns to Day 2, where the Tigers could see a wave of names come off the board.
The Las Vegas Raiders opened the draft by selecting quarterback Fernando Mendoza at No. 1 overall, but Clemson’s impact came a bit later in the round.
Offensive tackle Blake Miller was picked No. 17 overall by the Detroit Lions, giving the franchise a plug-and-play option up front. Toward the end of the round, defensive tackle Peter Woods came off the board at No. 29 overall to the Kansas City Chiefs, adding a disruptive presence to their defensive line.
That early success already puts the Clemson Tigers ahead of last year’s pace, and there’s still plenty of talent left heading into Friday night.
