The San Francisco 49ers are picking 27th overall in the NFL Draft. We’ll do our best to help 49ers fans get an idea of when the team will be on the clock.

According to the NFL Football Operations, the allotted time for teams this year in the first round is eight minutes. That’s down two minutes, which is the first time we’ve seen a change since 2008. There will be no time change when teams are on the clock after the first round.

That means the 49ers should be on the clock around roughly 8:36 p.m. PT. That time doesn’t factor in the inevitable trades that’ll take place, or Roger Goodell giving a lengthy, meaningless opening speech after the crowd gives him the boo birds.

For reference, when the 49ers selected Ricky Pearsall in the 2024 NFL Draft at No. 31 overall, we were talking about him by 8:55 p.m. PT. Hopefully, this helps give you an idea or plan your evening for when the Niners will be on the clock.

There have been no line moves in the betting market as far as which prospects will be selected at No. 27. Three offensive linemen remain the leaders in the clubhouse: Caleb Lomu, Blake Miller, and Max Iheanachor.
