Things are a little different, at least timing-wise, for the opening night of this year's NFL draft.

Instead of the usual 10-minute intervals between first-round picks, teams will have eight minutes—from selection to selection—to turn in their cards during tonight's proceedings in Pittsburgh, Penn. The reduction will likely make for a smoother viewing experience for fans, but will also change up the estimated time of arrivals for all 32 announcements.

So, when should Carolina Panthers fans expect to hear their team's choice on Thursday evening?

If were we to assume that each team fully utilizes their eight-minute periods, then the Panthers—who are slated to choose from the 2026 draft's 19th overall slot—would have to make their pick official by 10:32 p.m. ET. But every front office might not take every second they are allotted.

As long as general manager Dan Morgan and company stay put, Panthers fans should tune in from around 10:20 p.m. ET to 10:35 p.m. ET.
