Highlighting the team’s performance, the doubles duo of Juliana Jurado and Rosmary Pena claimed the Flight 3 consolation title with an 8-6 victory over Collin College’s Sera Karassis and Nobuhle Zungu. The win showcased their resilience and chemistry on the court, a bright spot in a competitive field.
In singles action, Maria Camila Ternera advanced to the Flight 1 consolation final, where she battled hard before falling 8-6 to Mishel Lobotenko of Seward County (Kansas). Her run demonstrated the depth and determination that defined WC’s tournament effort.
