The Washington Huskies have their tight end in the 2027 class after Jedd Fisch's coaching staff picked up a commitment from three-star tight end Zach Albright.

Albright, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound local product of Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish, Washington, is ranked as the nation's No. 499 overall player and No. 30 tight end in the class by the 247Sports Composite, and chose the Huskies over nine other offers, including California, Michigan, Texas A&M, Utah, and Wisconsin.

Also a standout basketball player at Glacier Peak, Albright has been a priority target for position coach Jordan Paopao for a long time. He has been spotted at several games and practices for unofficial visits over the last few seasons, and is set to return for his official visit on June 5 as the twelfth commit in Washington's class, which is currently ranked as the No. 10 crop in the nation by 247Sports.

On film, Albright displays plenty of upside as a pass catcher. His high school mainly lines him up as a wide receiver, allowing him to win jump balls outside the numbers and flash his athleticism in space, consistently getting him the ball quickly with screen plays, which could lead to Jedd Fisch moving him all over the formation to take advantage of the mismatches his athleticism can provide.

With his potential, Albright is a long-term addition to Washington's tight end room. His frame has plenty of room to add weight, which should help him improve as a blocker while learning behind players like Decker DeGraaf, Kade Eldridge, Baron Naone, and Kekua Aumua.

Albright joins four-star wide receiver Braylon Pope and three-star cornerback Maurice Williams as the third in-state pledge in the 2027 class, while four-star quarterback Blake Roskopf, four-star running back Jeremy Adeyanju, and four-star wide receiver Zerek Sidney round out UW's current offensive class.
