The Washington Huskies are firmly in the race for one of the most coveted wide receivers in the 2027 recruiting class. Four-star standout Tre Moore, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound playmaker from Pflugerville Weiss High School in Texas, has narrowed his extensive list of 43 offers to just three finalists: Miami, Ohio State, and Washington.
Moore, ranked as the No. 160 overall prospect and No. 21 wide receiver nationally by the 247Sports Composite, has been a top priority for head coach Jedd Fisch and his staff. The Huskies have been pursuing the dynamic pass catcher for some time, and now they'll need to fend off two perennial powerhouses to land his commitment.
Moore has locked in official visits with all three finalists. After a trip to LSU in mid-April, he'll head to Miami on June 5, followed by Ohio State on June 12, before making his way to Montlake on June 19. This will be Moore's third visit to Washington, having previously attended a game-day visit in late October to watch the Huskies upset then-No. 23 Illinois, and an unofficial visit in late April for spring practice.
On the field, Moore is a force to be reckoned with. During his junior season, he hauled in 85 catches for 1,443 yards and 19 touchdowns, showcasing the kind of production that could make him an immediate impact player at the collegiate level. His size, speed, and ability to win contested catches make him a natural fit for the X position in Fisch's offense. Even with Jordan Clay, Bodpegn Miller, and Justice Williams already in the mix, Moore has the tools to work his way into the depth chart as a true freshman.
Washington currently holds commitments from two other four-star wide receivers—Braylon Pope and Zerek Sidney—as part of a 2027 class that ranks No. 11 nationally by 247Sports. Adding Moore would be a significant boost to an already impressive haul, further solidifying the Huskies' reputation as a destination for elite talent.
