But here's the catch: Golden State's firm stance on keeping Draymond Green could complicate matters significantly.

The organization still views the four-time champion as a vital piece on the court, praising his elite defensive skills that elevate during high-stakes moments. Now, if the Bucks are willing to accept Jimmy Butler in a trade for Antetokounmpo instead of Green, then the Warriors' decision to hold onto Green might not backfire. But there's a major red flag: Butler is coming off a devastating ACL injury, and Milwaukee may be hesitant to take on an aging superstar with such a significant health concern. That makes Green their next best trade chip.

By refusing to even shop Green, the Warriors could be making their path to acquiring Antetokounmpo much harder. While Green's production has naturally declined in the later stages of his career, he still holds respectable trade value that could sweeten any deal for Milwaukee.
