Last week, Oakcrest's Delaney Mason dominated the fan vote, pulling in a staggering 90.2% of over 13,000 votes. Audubon's Emma Speyerer and Hammonton's Hannah Hines rounded out the top three. This week's contenders are ready to compete for that same spotlight.
Leading off, Florence sophomore Jayla Long powered the Flashes to a three-game winning streak. She launched a home run and drove in four runs during a May 4 win over Palmyra, finishing the week with six RBIs. She's now hitting .354 on the season.
Over at Holy Cross Prep Academy, senior Alese Smith reached a major career milestone, recording her 200th strikeout in a game against Haddon Heights on May 4. That's the kind of dominance that defines a legacy.
Cinnaminson's Mia Zuccarelli put on a power display, smashing two home runs and driving in four runs as the Pirates went 2-1. The senior connected for homers against Woodstown and Delsea, bringing her season total to three while batting a scorching .419.

Audubon's Isabella Lamancusa delivered in the clutch, driving in two runs in a win over Haddon Heights on May 7 before knocking in the game's only run in a 1-0 victory against Delran the next day. She's now driven in a run in eight of her last nine games, totaling 16 RBIs on the year.
Gloucester junior Bailey Schoenfeldt was unstoppable at the plate, collecting 10 hits in three games. She recorded her 100th career hit in a 7-4 win at West Deptford on May 7 and has now hit safely in all 16 games this season (32 hits total). She closed the week with back-to-back four-hit games.
Cherokee's Brianna DeCristofer has been one of the hottest hitters in the conference over the last two weeks. The senior has six consecutive multi-hit games, with 14 of her 21 season hits coming during that stretch. She's now batting .438 after going 6-for-9 in wins over Lenape, Moorestown, and Shawnee last week.
Seneca's Savanna Nieuwenhuizen also deserves a nod for her contributions on the field this week.
