The Upstate is full of high school softball talent.

As we get closer to the end of the SCHSL regular season, here’s a chance to pick the 2026 midseason player of the year from a selected group of finalists.

Statistics are collected from MaxPreps, and responses are submitted from coaches.

Multiple votes are allowed. The poll will close at noon on April 25.

Addison Sharp, T.L. Hanna, So.: Sharp had 22 RBIs, four home runs, and 14 runs scored. She also had an ERA of 1.65 and 148 strikeouts over 84.2 innings.

Memorie Melton, Byrnes, Sr.: Melton batted .576 with 28 RBIs, seven stolen bases, and four home runs.

Halle Tompkins, Palmetto, Sr.: Tompkins struck out 69 batters over 61.1 innings. She also had 25 RBIs and two home runs.

Vivian Whitfield, Greenville, Sr.: Whitefield had two home runs and 15 RBIs. She had 108 strikeouts in 65.1 innings pitched.

Rylee Dotson, Crescent, Jr.: Dotson had 35 RBIs and nine home runs on a .486 batting average. She's thrown out six out of seven stolen base attempts.

Tenleigh Davis, Powdersville, So.: Davis batted .606 with 26 RBIs and seven home runs.
