There were plenty of tremendous performances last week in the Central Mass. girls' lacrosse season, and Jim Wilson found some of the best of them for readers to vote on to decide the Hometeam Girls' Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Congratulations to Algonquin's Lauren Staunton for taking the top spot in last week's poll, registering 3,241 votes (50.8 percent) to top Grafton's Peyton Morrison (1,992 votes) for the honor.

These picks were selected from performances reported by area coaches to the Hometeam Scoreboard. Coaches or administrators are encouraged to report game results and highlights each night by calling the T&G sports desk at 508-793-9350 or emailing sports@telegram.com.

Albertson had five goals and one assist as the Colonials defeated Minnechaug, 17-7.

Alexander had four goals to propel the Warriors to a 15-3 win over St. Bernard's.

Baglio had six goals as the Bulldogs defeated Landmark, 16-14 and also had a hat trick in a 17-7 loss to Concord Academy.

Balewicz had six goals and three assists as the Wolves rolled over Bromfield, 22-10, and also had three goals and two assists as Nashoba fell, 15-11, to Bedford.

Berthiaume had a hat trick in a 12-5 loss to Williams and also had four goals in a 17-7 loss to Concord Academy.

Fluharty had five goals and two assists as the Bernardians were edged by Oakmont, 13-12, and scored twice in a 15-3 loss to Tantasqua.

Gage had six goals and four assists as the Rangers recorded a 22-5 win over North Middlesex.

Hauck had four goals and one assist to pace the Titans to a 15-7 win over Agawam.

Kittredge had eight goals as the Rangers rolled past North Middlesex, 22-5.

LaPrade had five goals as the Spartans nipped St. Bernard's, 13-12, and had two goals and one assist in a 9-8 loss to Tyngsborough and added four goals in a 14-4 win over Marlborough.

LeBlanc had five goals to help the Spartans edge St. Bernard's, 13-12 and also scored twice in a 9-8 loss to Tyngsborough and netted three goals and two assists in a 14-4 win over Marlborough.

Lilburn had six goals and netted the winner in a 13-12 win over Wayland.

McGrath had four goals as the Gators suffered their first loss of the season in a 14-13 loss to Lexington (9-1).

Nicopolous ha six goals as the Rebels defeated Worcester, 19-12.

Pinto had four goals as the Wolves were topped by Bedford, 15-11, and recorded six goals and two assists as Nashoba thumped Bromfield, 22-10.

Staunton tallied five times to key a 15-7 win over Agawam, and recorded three goals and one assist in a 17-3 win over Notre Dame Academy.

White had a hat trick as the Mountaineers fell, 11-8, to West Springfield.
