Another action-packed week of North Jersey high school softball has come and gone, and it's time to celebrate the athletes who shined brightest on the diamond. From clutch hits to dominant pitching, the players nominated for this week's HSS Player of the Week award delivered performances that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

One senior standout was simply unstoppable at the plate, going 6-for-7 across two games with a double, three RBIs, and three runs scored. Her consistency and power made her a nightmare for opposing pitchers.

Another star, Brown of the Spartans, came up huge when it mattered most. She crushed a ground-rule double and scored a run in the Passaic County semifinals against Pompton Lakes, then launched a first-inning home run and crossed the plate three times in the final against Passaic Valley. Her heroics powered the Spartans' quest for a third straight county title.

But the excitement didn't stop there. Players like Gianna Selby, who scored a key run for Pascack Valley, and Old Tappan's Ava Candullo, who celebrated a home run with pure joy, also made their mark.
