Another thrilling week of high school lacrosse has come and gone, leaving us with jaw-dropping performances and clutch moments that defined the postseason. From goalies standing tall in championship games to attackers lighting up the scoreboard, the talent on display has been nothing short of spectacular. Now, it's your turn to decide who deserves the spotlight. Kicking off our list, Acanfrio delivered a masterclass in goal, powering the Highlanders to the Passaic County title. With 17 saves in an 8-7 championship win over Wayne Valley, he was a wall when it mattered most. Over three tournament games last week, he held opponents to just nine goals total—a testament to his focus and athleticism.

On the other side of the county, Galloway locked up the Bergen Invitational title for the Golden Hawks. Stopping 18 of 22 shots in an 8-4 victory over Paramus, he then added six saves in a 14-6 semifinal win. His consistency between the pipes was the backbone of his team's championship run.

Over in Bergen County, Kushner etched his name into history by leading the Ironmen to their sixth straight county title. Scoring two goals in the final against Ridgewood, he was a force all week, tallying eight goals and four assists across three tournament matches. His leadership and scoring touch were undeniable.

On the girls' side, Cuccinello had a week for the ages, racking up 14 goals, four assists, and 19 draw controls for the Passaic County finalists. She also hit a major milestone, scoring her 100th career goal in the semifinal round against Passaic Tech. Her all-around game was a key factor in her team's success.

Gottschall powered Lakeland to their first Passaic County title since 2018 with a six-goal performance against Wayne Hills in a 12-11 thriller. Finishing the week with 14 goals and one assist, she also eclipsed 100 career goals, proving she's a player to watch every time she steps on the field.

Rounding out the nominees, the USC commit continued her dominant run for the Maroons, leading them to a second straight Bergen County title. With four goals and two assists against IHA, she tallied 10 goals and four assists for the week while surpassing 200 career points. Her vision and finishing ability set her apart.
