Another exciting week of high school flag football has wrapped up, and it's time to celebrate the standout athletes who lit up the field. From game-changing touchdowns to defensive heroics, these players delivered performances worthy of your vote for the HSS North Jersey Player of the Week. Sophomore Star Shines in Upset Victory
A sophomore sensation led her team to a stunning 34-0 upset over Jefferson, hauling in three touchdown catches and pulling nine flags. Over two games, she racked up seven touchdowns on just 12 receptions, averaging an impressive 23.1 yards per catch and totaling 277 receiving yards. Her efforts kept the Braves' division-title hopes alive.

Junior Playmaker Dominates in Showcase Game
This junior running back and defensive back scored all three touchdowns in a thrilling 20-14 win over Secaucus at the Wallington "Tackle Kids Cancer" showcase. Two scores came on the ground, and one was a pick-six. Across three games, he rushed 38 times for 358 yards and three touchdowns, while also recording 16 flag pulls on defense.

Golden Bears' First Win Fueled by Junior Talent
A junior wide receiver and defensive back was instrumental in securing the Golden Bears' first win of the season, a decisive 32-6 victory over Ridgefield. She broke a 66-yard touchdown run, finishing with a season-high 87 yards on five carries, and added a 16-yard interception return for a score. Her eight flag pulls rounded out a stellar all-around performance.

Senior Leader Powers Boilermakers to Perfect Week
This senior running back and defensive back helped the Boilermakers go 3-0, starting with 70- and 54-yard touchdown catches in a win over Pompton Lakes. He rushed 24 times for 205 yards (8.5 per carry) and three touchdowns across the week, also contributing six flag pulls and an interception.

Junior Defensive Star Keeps Maroons Undefeated
A junior opened the scoring with a 35-yard interception return for a touchdown in the Maroons' 31-14 win over West Orange, improving their record to 9-0. He added three catches for 22 yards and a 6-yard touchdown, while leading the team with 11 flag pulls on defense.

Junior Powers CAPS to First Win
A junior led CAPS to its first victory of the season, a 25-18 triumph over Passaic Charter on May 6. He rushed 25 times for 121 yards and three touchdowns (from 45, 30, and 60 yards), made eight flag pulls, and added a one-point conversion run.
