This commitment comes on the heels of a landmark 2025 campaign for the Cavaliers. Elliott guided the team to a school-record 11 wins, an impressive 7-1 mark in the competitive ACC, and a No. 16 finish in the final AP Top 25 poll—their highest season-ending ranking since 1995. For his efforts in orchestrating this remarkable turnaround, Elliott was named the AP's ACC Coach of the Year.
