KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — VFL wide receiver Chris Brazzell had one more thing to do before he went back to Midland, Texas for the upcoming 2026 NFL draft, and that was to hold his youth football camp.
Today a chance to connect with the next generation of football players, ones that look up to Brazzell, something the VFL does not take lightly.

“I don’t want to let them down,” he said. “I’m sure a couple of these guys are real big Chris Brazzell fans. I’m a fan of theirs too. I’m glad they support me, so I don’t want to let them down so that’s how it motivates me.”
Brazzell also highlighted how giving back to the Knoxville community is important to him because of all the support the Vol fans have shown him over the last two years.
“You never know like the impact you have on kids until now to be honest. I knew kids supported me, but I didn’t know I had 150 kids who were willing just to come to my camps,” he said.
Projected first round pick, VFL defensive back Jermod McCoy made a guest appearance at the camp as well.
