A star is rising right here in the Valley. Hubbard High School sophomore Addie Manzo has etched her name into the international soccer scene, leading the prestigious United States Olympic Development Program (ODP) National Team to an Ibercup Championship in Cascais, Portugal.

This wasn't just any tournament victory. The Ibercup is renowned as one of the world's premier youth competitions, and Manzo's US squad navigated a gauntlet of elite professional academies to claim the title. They dominated the group stage before delivering a stunning 5-1 victory in the final against a youth powerhouse from English giants Manchester City.

Manzo was instrumental in the championship run, contributing a goal and an assist across six intense matches. Her performance shone brightest against a who's who of global soccer, facing off against youth teams from iconic clubs like FC Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
