Michigan has become one of the leading producers in NFL Draft talent.
A total of 29 Wolverines have been selected in the last three NFL Drafts – which was the transition from the Jim Harbaugh to Sherrone Moore era. Michigan enters a new era with coach Kyle Whittingham. In the 2026 NFL Draft, Michigan could have a half-dozen players selected, and that starts with a few defensive standouts from last season's 9-4 team.

Here is a look at the Michigan players expected to be drafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, with potential spots according to SN's latest NFL Mock Draft:
Moore (6-3, 255) is a value Day 2 pass rusher. He had 10 sacks last season, which included a three-game stretch in which he had multiple sacks. Moore, however, had zero sacks and three hurries in the Wolverines' three regular-season losses.
Rayshaun Benny, DT, Carolina Panthers (No. 83)
Benny (6-3, 298) remained a consistent producer on the interior each of the last three seasons for the Wolverines. He is an excellent run defender who had 1.5 sacks each of the last two seasons.
Jaishawn Barham, EDGE, Miami Dolphins (No. 90)
Barham (6-3, 240) totaled 98 tackles and five sacks the last two seasons at Michigan. That versatility at middle linebacker with the ability to play the edge could push him into Round 2.
Klein (6-6, 248) had 24 catches for 248 yards and one TD last season. Michigan could have a tight end selected for the third straight year after AJ Barner (2024) and Colston Loveland (2025).
Jimmy Rolder, LB, Cincinnati Bengals (No. 221)
Rolder (6-2, 238) had a breakout season for the Wolverines with 73 tackles and seven tackles for loss. He also had an interception and two pass breakups.
Zvada (6-3, 178) was an All-American kicker in 2024. He finished 21 of 26 (80.7%) from 40 yards or more and 11 of 13 (84.6%) from 50 yards in four years at Michigan.
Michigan had 13 players selected in the 2024 NFL Draft after winning the College Football Playoff championship in Jim Harbaugh's final season with the program. Quarterback J.J. McCarthy was Michigan's lone first-round pick in that draft.
Georgia had 15 players selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, and that included five first-round picks led by No. 1 pick Travon Walker. Ohio State (2004, 2025) and LSU (2020) each had 14 players selected in a single draft.
Bryce Underwood – the No. 1 quarterback recruit in the class of 2025 who flipped from LSU to Michigan — has two more seasons in college. He will be eligible for the NFL Draft in 2028. He passed for 2,428 yards, 11 TDs and nine interceptions with the Wolverines as a freshman and will look to improve this season under new coach Kyle Whittingham.
