Darren Till is trading in the four-ounce gloves for a bare-knuckle challenge. The charismatic UFC veteran has officially signed a multi-fight deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), marking a dramatic new chapter in his combat sports career.
His debut is set for BKFC 90 on May 30 in Birmingham, England, where he will compete at 185 pounds against an opponent to be named. The announcement comes just days after Till confirmed his departure from Misfits Boxing, where he compiled a perfect 3-0 record and captured a title, leaving the door open for a potential return there in the future.
This move to BKFC represents a fresh start for "The Gorilla," a fighter who once rocketed to stardom in the UFC with highlight-reel wins over Donald Cerrone and Stephen Thompson. His 2018 title shot against Tyron Woodley, however, proved to be a turning point. Following that submission loss, Till struggled to recapture his early form, dropping four of his final five UFC bouts.
Now, the powerful striker from Liverpool steps into the raw, high-stakes arena of bare-knuckle fighting. His fan-friendly style and knockout power seem tailor-made for BKFC's relentless pace, making his debut one of the most anticipated combat sports events of the spring.
