Even though Garrett DiGiorgio didn’t hear his name called during the 2026 NFL Draft, DiGiorgio still signed on with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent shortly after the conclusion of the draft on Saturday.

DiGiorgio offers a bit of versatility to the Jaguars offensive line, having experience at both tackle spots and at guard. Following Tim Skipper taking over for UCLA last season, DiGiorgio was moved inside to guard after spending years at tackle for the Bruins.

One thing DiGiorgio does have is game experience, his 49 starts are the second-most of any UCLA Bruin ever. For his efforts at guard, DiGiorgio was voted an All-Big Ten honorable mention by the media.

The Athletic's Dane Brugler viewed DiGiorgio’s potential at guard in the NFL, ranking him as the No. 22 guard prospect in the draft.

“DiGiorgio is a warrior who will spar with anyone in front of him. His feet and arm length are mediocre for a tackle bit solid for a guard,” Brugler wrote. “His most consistent tape came over the final eight games of the 2025 season, when he kicked inside to right guard.”

It’ll be an uphill battle for DiGiorgio to make the Jaguars 53-man roster this fall, but the signing will give DiGiorgio an opportunity to catch some eyes around the league during training camp. Jacksonville didn’t go after too many offensive lineman during this year’s draft, using just one of their 10 picks on their offensive line.

The one lineman that the Jaguars played in the Big Ten Conference alongside DiGiorgio, with Jacksonville selecting Oregon’s Emmanuel Pregnon in the third round with the 88th overall pick.
