Tyler Fletcher's remarkable rise through Manchester United's ranks has reached a new milestone. The 17-year-old midfielder has been named the Denzil Haroun Reserve-Team Player of the Year, capping off a season that has seen him become a cornerstone of the U21 side.

Logging over 2,000 minutes on the pitch, Fletcher has been a commanding presence in midfield, showcasing the talent that runs in his blood. As the son of United legend and current U18s manager Darren Fletcher, the young Scot is writing his own chapter at Old Trafford. He signed for the club in 2023 alongside his twin brother Jack, making the switch from Manchester City for a reported £1.25 million—a move that raised eyebrows across the football world.

The transition proved seamless. Within months, the Fletcher twins had graduated from the youth setup to become regulars for the U21s. Tyler signed his first professional contract in April 2024, just after his 17th birthday, and hasn't looked back since. This season, he has evolved into a leader on the pitch, dictating play with exceptional vision, pinpoint passing, and the tactical versatility that makes him a nightmare for opponents.

His performances haven't gone unnoticed on the international stage either. Fletcher has become a key figure for Scotland's U19 side, starting every qualifying match for the UEFA Under-19 Championship. But the most exciting development for United fans has been his growing involvement with the first team. Regular training sessions with the senior squad have become the norm, and interim head coach Michael Carrick handed him his debut in February, bringing him on as a late substitute.

For a player who only turned professional a year ago, the trajectory is nothing short of breathtaking. If he continues at this pace, following in his father's footsteps—and filling the boots of a United great—might not be a dream for much longer.
