Two of Alabama football's brightest future stars are set to take center stage this summer. Quarterback commits Trent Seaborn and Elijah Haven have both been selected to compete in the prestigious Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles—a showcase that has become a rite of passage for the nation's top signal-callers.
Seaborn, a four-star recruit who pledged to the Crimson Tide back in October, received his official invitation Wednesday. He joins Haven, who earned his spot as a finalist in March. Together, these two rising talents represent the next wave of Alabama's quarterback legacy, and they'll have a chance to prove it under the bright lights of L.A.
Both players bring serious credentials to the Elite 11 stage. Seaborn, out of Thompson High School in Alabama, is ranked as the No. 14 quarterback and No. 12 overall player in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. Haven, meanwhile, is the top-ranked quarterback in the same class and the No. 2 overall player nationally—also considered the best prospect in Louisiana, where he stars at Dunham School.
The Elite 11 Finals have long been a proving ground for future college stars and NFL draft picks, and this year's field will be stacked with top-tier 2027 quarterbacks from across the country. For Alabama fans, seeing both of their commits in the mix is a promising sign for the years ahead.
As these young guns prepare to showcase their arm talent, poise, and leadership in Los Angeles, it's clear the future of Alabama football is in good hands—literally.
