The Tennessee high school boys soccer season is heating up as the TSSAA region tournament kicks off, bringing intense playoff action to the Nashville area. After a thrilling district round, teams are now battling for a spot in the state tournament, set to begin May 19 at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex in Murfreesboro. Whether you're a player, coach, or fan, here's everything you need to know about the region brackets, schedules, and scores.
One key note: if a district winner from a district hosting the regional finals loses, the runner-up from that district will step in as host. In Class AAA, the action starts May 12 with Rockvale traveling to Cookeville at 6 p.m., while Lebanon faces Siegel at 7 p.m. The winners clash on May 14 for the region championship at 7 p.m. Meanwhile, Ravenwood heads to Warren County, and Shelbyville visits Franklin on the same day, with the region final set for May 14 between those victors.
Over in Class AA, Hendersonville takes on Hillsboro at 6:30 p.m., and Cane Ridge faces Beech at 7 p.m. on May 12. The region championship on May 14 pits the Hillsboro-Hendersonville winner against the Beech-Cane Ridge winner at 7 p.m. Also on May 12, Henry County travels to Clarksville at 6 p.m., and Rossview battles West Creek at the same time. The winners meet on May 14 at 6 p.m. for the title.
In Class A, May 12 features Tullahoma at Cumberland County and Livingston Central at Central Magnet at 7 p.m. The region championship on May 14 brings together the Cumberland County-Tullahoma winner and the Central Magnet-Livingston Academy winner. Additionally, MLK faces Station Camp at 7 p.m., while Liberty Creek takes on Hume-Fogg at 6 p.m. on May 12. The winners play for the region crown on May 14 at 5 p.m.
Finally, in Division II, Lexington visits Fairview, and Sycamore travels to Jackson North Side on May 12. The region championship on May 14 features the Fairview-Lexington winner against the Jackson North Side-Sycamore winner.
