In a thrilling extra-inning clash that snapped a four-game slide, Northmont pulled off a dramatic 8-7 upset over Beavercreek on Wednesday. The T-Bolts, who improved to 5-5, sealed the victory in the top of the eighth when Austin Welch delivered a clutch single to score pinch-hitter Talon Paugh. Garret Hoke provided the offensive spark with a triple and three RBI, while Connor Slentz shut the door with 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to secure the win.

This result shook up the Greater Western Ohio Conference, halting Beavercreek's impressive seven-game win streak. Elsewhere in the GWOC, Centerville continued its dominant start, moving to 4-0 behind a home run and four RBI from Ryan Muchmore in an 18-5 rout of Springfield.

The day was full of standout pitching performances across the region. Wayne's Peyton Tengesdahl fanned 12 batters in a complete-game win over Miamisburg, while Fairmont's Brayden Vance struck out ten in 5.2 innings to hand Springboro its first loss of the season. The most remarkable feat belonged to Badin's Caleb Driessen, who etched his name in the record books by pitching a perfect game with 10 strikeouts against Chaminade-Julienne.

Offensive fireworks were also on display. Lakota West's Noah Bramble led his team to a fifth straight win, going 3-for-3 with a triple, a homer, and five RBI. Tippecanoe extended its win streak to nine games powered by Ethan Harney, who homered for the fourth consecutive game. Stebbins' Carson Henry had a huge day at the plate, launching two home runs and driving in five runs in a win over Fairborn.

From walk-off hits to perfect games, Wednesday's action was a reminder of the incredible talent and unforgettable moments that define high school baseball.
