The Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to trade picks with the Carolina Panthers to move up to pick No. 119 in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Jacksonville traded a fourth-rounder (No. 124) and a fifth-rounder (No. 166) to Carolina for a slightly higher fourth-rounder (No. 119) and a sixth-rounder (No. 196).
So, general manager James Gladstone got to keep the same amount of “at-bats” while getting his guy: Duke EDGE Wesley Williams.
Williams is one of the draft’s biggest sleepers, according to SB Nation’s Mark Schofield.
Wesley Williams recorded just a pair of sacks in 2025, a year after recording 7.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles for a loss. But when you watch him on film, you see a pass rusher with a plan, a tool kit to work with, and the ability to tie it all together. … Williams might be available late into Day 3, but some team is going to take advantage of that fact when they turn in a card with his name on it.
We’ll have more info on Williams coming very soon. In the meantime, let us know how you feel about the trade and the pick in the comments below!
