The 2026 NWSL season is in full swing, and the league has just dropped the hottest jersey sales rankings. It’s no surprise that star power and stunning design are driving the numbers, with one team's kit emerging as the clear fan favorite.
Leading the individual sales chart is Washington Spirit forward and dynamic attacker Trinity Rodman, whose electrifying play continues to capture the imagination of fans. She’s followed closely by Denver Summit FC's standout Lindsey Heaps and Spirit midfielder Hal Hershfelt, rounding out a powerful top three.
The real story, however, is the sheer dominance of the Washington Spirit. Not only does Rodman hold the top spot, but the Spirit boast a staggering six players in the top ten. Alongside Rodman and Hershfelt, Tara Rudd (#4), Esme Morgan (#5), Rosemonde Kouassi (#6), and Leicy Santos (#8) have made the club's iconic cherry blossom kit a must-have item. This representation doubles that of the next closest team in the top 20, highlighting an incredible connection between the squad and its supporters.
That connection is by design. "Our fans asked for a Cherry Blossom design that reflects DC, and we delivered," said Washington Spirit CEO Kim Stone. "To see it become the top-selling jersey in the NWSL, with six of our players in the top eight, is a testament to how our brand and our players resonate. It’s amazing to see our kit worn everywhere." It’s clear that when a club’s identity, its stars, and its community align, the result is more than just a uniform—it’s a phenomenon.
