Inter Milan have completed a historic double, securing their 10th Coppa Italia title just days after clinching the Scudetto. The Nerazzurri dominated Lazio 2-0 in a one-sided final, marking the first time the club has achieved the domestic double since José Mourinho's legendary 2010 campaign.

The match was effectively decided within the first half hour, as Lazio's defensive errors proved costly. An own-goal from Adam Marusic put Inter ahead, before Nuno Tavares' mistake allowed Lautaro Martínez to double the lead. The Argentine striker, who has been instrumental throughout the season, praised his team's mentality: "The coach deserves a 10, what a season we've had."

Cristian Chivu, the interim coach who stepped in following Simone Inzaghi's departure, acknowledged the achievement wasn't guaranteed. "It wasn't a given," he said after the match. "This group showed incredible character to complete the double."

Lazio, meanwhile, had no answers for Inter's relentless pressure. Luis Henrique missed a golden opportunity to make it 3-0, while Dia was wasteful in front of goal. The Biancocelesti's only real chance came when Pedro and Dimarco sparked briefly, but it was too little, too late. The defeat means Lazio will miss out on European competition next season.

Off the pitch, the Serie A schedule remains in disarray. The Lega Serie A has taken legal action after the prefecture rejected their request to play matches at 12:00 on Sunday. The situation has put the upcoming Derby della Madonnina at risk of being played without supporters. Lega president Simonelli has also requested that the Italian Open final be postponed to 17:30 to avoid scheduling conflicts.

In transfer news, Milan are reportedly in advanced talks with Bayern Munich's Niclas Füllkrug, who would arrive on a free transfer. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace's Odsonne Edouard has created the groundwork for a move to San Siro, with one year remaining on his current deal. Atletico Madrid and Newcastle United are also monitoring Dusan Vlahovic's situation, while Kenan Yildiz has declared his commitment to Juventus: "This team has my heart, I feel attached to this club."

As the season winds down, Inter's double-winning campaign will be remembered as one of the club's finest achievements. For fans looking to celebrate in style, the Nerazzurri's iconic black and blue stripes have never looked better.
