It’s always a weird time of year doing these things. Yes, there are still plenty to talk about with Husker athletics, but not having something every day makes it a lot more difficult. Other than that, there is a hodgepodge of things going on, but when your teams suck (Bulls and Flames), the playoffs just lack that edge.

Meanwhile, the NFL is about to poke its head back into the fold, as the first round of the draft is tonight. I will be watching with bated breath to see if the Broncos have somehow traded away more of their future to get back into the first round. Using the first-round pick of this year to trade for Jaylen Waddle…YES PLEASE! Could be a fun year for the Broncos in a few months. In the meantime…here are your flakes…
