Three USC players were selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, which officially concluded after seven rounds on Saturday. The three Trojans were wide receivers Makai Lemon and Ja’Kobi Lane and safety Kamari Ramsey.
The Trojans have a long-standing and successful history in the NFL Draft. USC has had at least one player drafted into the NFL every year since 1939, which ties Michigan for the longest overall draft streak in college football history.
Lemon was the top draft prospect out of USC going into the draft. He was projected to be selected by the Los Angeles Rams with the No. 13 pick but he ultimately fell to the No. 20 pick in the draft.
The Philadelphia Eagles drafted Lemon after completing a trade with the Dallas Cowboys for the No. 20 pick.
Lane was the next Trojans to hear his name called in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Baltimore Ravens selected Lane on Day 2 of the draft with the No. 80 pick in the third round.
Lane had two connections to the Ravens during the recruiting process. Ravens assistant wide receivers coach Prentice Gill was the wide receivers coach at USC from 2016-18, and former Ravens tight end Todd Heap was an assistant coach and mentor for Lane during his high school career at Red Mountain High School in Arizona.
The third and final Trojan to be drafted into the NFL over the weekend was Ramsey.
The Houston Texans selected Ramsey with the No. 141 overall pick in the fifth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday. Ramsey will join two former Trojans, Jaylin Smith and Calen Bullock, on the Texans. Ramsey marks the third defensive back Houston has drafted out of USC in three consecutive drafts.
There are multiple former Trojans that signed deals as undrafted free agents following the conclusion of the draft.
Safety Bishop Fitzgerald signed with the Tennessee Titans, linebacker Eric Gentry signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and tight end Lake McRee signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Additionally, defensive back DeCarlos Nicholson signed with the Cleveland Browns, while defensive lineman Keeshawn Silver signed with the New Orleans Saints and defensive lineman Anthony Lucas signed with the Detroit Lions.
