Manchester United's summer transfer plans are taking shape, and according to The Times, Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers has emerged as a key target. The 23-year-old forward is reportedly being discussed by United's hierarchy as they look to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming season.

Rogers, who has enjoyed a breakout campaign with 12 goals and nine assists in 50 appearances across all competitions, is said to be considering a move away from Villa Park—even if the club secures Champions League qualification. His versatility is a major draw for United, as he can slot into the left-wing position or play his natural midfield role, giving the team tactical flexibility.

United won't have an easy path to signing him, though. A host of other clubs are monitoring the England international's situation, making this a potentially competitive pursuit. Rogers featured in Villa's Europa League semi-final first leg against Nottingham Forest but struggled to make a significant impact.

Rogers isn't the only name on United's shortlist. The club is also considering RB Leipzig's 19-year-old star Yan Diomande, who has impressed with 13 goals and nine assists in 33 Bundesliga and DFB Cup appearances. While Leipzig would prefer to keep the teenager—who only joined last July—they may be open to a sale if a lucrative offer comes in.

As the summer transfer window approaches, United fans can expect more movement as the club aims to strengthen their attack and compete at the highest level. Whether it's Rogers' creativity or Diomande's emerging talent, the Red Devils are clearly planning for a busy and exciting transfer period ahead.
