There are 21 points left up for grabs in the 2025-26 Premier League season and every one of those will matter for those near the bottom of the table. West Ham currently sit in 18th, with Tottenham one point above the drop, Nottingham Forest three ahead and Leeds four. The Hammers then face Brentford, Everton and Newcastle, who are all chasing a European spot, and current league leaders Arsenal.

The Premier League relegation battle is set for a heart-stopping finale, with just 21 points left to fight for. For the clubs teetering above the drop zone, every single point will feel like gold dust as they navigate a treacherous final run of fixtures.

Currently, West Ham United occupy the dreaded 18th spot. Just one point above them sit Tottenham Hotspur, with Nottingham Forest three points clear and Leeds United holding a four-point cushion. The margins are razor-thin, and the upcoming schedules will be decisive.

West Ham's path to safety is fraught with challenges. After a crucial Friday night clash against bottom side Wolves, they face a brutal gauntlet of Brentford, Everton, and Newcastle—all fiercely competing for European qualification—before a final-day showdown with league leaders Arsenal. Their season could very well hinge on a dramatic last-match decider against Leeds United.

For Tottenham, the run-in presents a unique paradox. While they have more away games, that might actually suit a side with the league's worst home record this season. New manager Roberto De Zerbi faces an immediate test with trips to Sunderland and a reunion with former club Brighton. A pivotal home match against Leeds in May could be a six-pointer for survival, before closing with daunting fixtures against Chelsea and Everton.

Nottingham Forest and Leeds, though they have slightly more breathing room, face their own complications with ongoing cup commitments adding to a congested schedule. Forest must still battle three of the current top six, plus European hopefuls Newcastle and Bournemouth. Their potential Europa League semi-final run could create a logistical nightmare around a key league trip to Chelsea.

Leeds, similarly, have an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea crammed into their run-in. Interestingly, they face the most direct relegation rivals in their remaining league games, with four of their seven final fixtures against fellow strugglers, setting the stage for a series of high-pressure, season-defining clashes. The fight for survival is officially on.
