Yet another year of unabated draft contest excitement

The 2026 Pick-3 Draft Prediction Contest has crowned its winners, and this year's results are nothing short of historic. For the 10th installment of the Hogs Haven draft extravaganza, the competition delivered a thrilling—and slightly chaotic—finish that has us already planning for next year.

After an all-time record of 98 entrants in 2024, participation dipped to 67 in 2025 before rebounding to 72 this year. But while the numbers fluctuated, the excitement only grew. Last year's contest saw the first-ever tie, but without a tie-breaker in place, we've now landed in uncharted territory: a five-way tie for first place!

Our five co-winners each correctly predicted Sonny Styles in the 1st round and Athan Kaliakmanis in the 7th round—a feat that proved to be the golden combination. For all of them, it's their first time atop the podium, and they share the honor in identical fashion. It's clear our community is getting sharper with those late-round projections, and next year, we'll definitely introduce tie-breakers to avoid another logjam.

The silver medalists, scoring 20 points each, correctly predicted a 6th-round pick—though one went with Fatman Allen while the other identified Matt Gulbin as a Commanders selection. Meanwhile, our bronze medalists both nailed the Kaliakmanis pick in the 7th but missed on Sonny Styles in the 1st, showing just how fine the margins are in this contest.

Rounding out the top scorers, three entrants predicted the Gulbin pick and one projected Kaytron to the Commanders, all earning 20 points. Another 28 entrants got on the board with 6 points each, proving that even a single correct prediction can make for a memorable draft day.

As always, if you spot any scoring errors among the 72 entrants and their 24 predictions each, let us know in the comments or via email. We're using a manual spreadsheet this week (our supercomputer is in the shop), so mistakes are possible. But for now, congratulations to all who participated—and especially to our five co-champions. Here's to an even bigger and better contest in 2027!
