The Dallas Cowboys and placekicker have reached an agreement that will make him the highest-paid kicker in the NFL.
The deal is $28 million for four years, with $20 million guaranteed.

As Adam Schefter pointed out, this is also a win for the UFL. Aubrey played in the league for two years before the Cowboys signed him.
A win for Spring Football: Brandon Aubrey went from being the kicker for the Birmingham Stallions in 2022 and 2023 to now becoming the highest paid kicker in NFL history. https://t.co/zBuaJ5CpSp
This should give hope to other players in the league that if they play well as he has, they too can make it to the next level.
Aubrey was basically automatic from anywhere on the field, which is why the Cowboys needed him back.
But when other teams didn’t want to give up a second-round draft pick for him, the handwriting was on the wall that he’d be back with the Cowboys at least for one more season.
Hopefully, this is a good sign for Cowboy fans that the team can get things done this offseason with wide receiver George Pickens.
