The Cleveland Browns might have pulled off another draft-day masterpiece. For the second straight year, the franchise appears to have loaded up with elite young talent, and the hype surrounding their 2026 rookie class is already reaching fever pitch.
After a tough 2025 season where the offense struggled to find its rhythm, the Browns made it clear they were prioritizing firepower. Their draft strategy focused on playmaking wide receivers and dominant offensive linemen—the kind of building blocks that can transform an attack. The message from the front office is simple: whoever lines up under center in 2026 will have a much better supporting cast.
Browns fans are buzzing, but it's not just the Dawg Pound that's excited. The national media is jumping on board too. ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper handed Cleveland an A+ grade, while also raising an intriguing question: can this class match the instant impact of the 2025 group?
"I don't know that Cleveland's 2026 group of draft picks will have the same impact," Kiper said. "But this is another good group which should have Week 1 roles. Another good draft weekend for the Browns."
NFL Stock Exchange analyst Trevor Sikkema was even more bullish. He gave the Browns the only A+ in his entire draft evaluation and specifically highlighted wide receivers Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion as potential game-changers.
"You fast forward the clock a year or two years from now, I bet KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston are the WR1 and WR2," Sikkema told 92.3's Nick Wilson and Jonathan Peterlin. "I think they're building the whole passing attack around these guys."
The accolades kept rolling in from every corner of the football world. Pro Football Focus matched the A+ grade, while NFL.com gave the Browns an A-. The Athletic named them "winners" on draft day. According to Dawgs By Nature, out of 24 major publications covering the NFL Draft, all but five graded the Browns at an A- or higher.
That kind of universal praise is rare in the draft world. For Browns fans—and anyone who loves watching a team build with purpose—this class is shaping up to be something special.
